Last updated 26-10-2026Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and Dan Lister, trading as Peeek, based in Manchester, England, who runs Clarifam (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you have a question about them, email [email protected].
Your account
- You must be 18 or over to create an account.
- Clarifam is for your own personal and household use, not for running a business.
- Each account is for one person. Keep your password and passkeys to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account.
- Use a real email address: it is how we recognise you if you contact us to get back into your account.
Households
Your figures live in a household. Anyone who has the household’s invite code can join it, and every member can see and change its figures. Share the code only with people you trust, and make a new one from the Household page if it gets out. You can leave a household, and its owner can remove members.
Free and Pro
Clarifam is free to use. Some features are part of Pro, which is also free at the moment. If we start charging for Pro, we will tell you well in advance, set out the price and how to cancel, and never charge you unless you choose to pay.
Clarifam is not financial advice
Clarifam is a tool for working with your own figures. The projections, such as the pension table and the drawdown, are illustrations worked out from the figures and assumptions you enter, like growth rates and your retirement age. They are not a forecast or a promise of what will happen, and the tax figures are simplified.
Nothing in Clarifam is regulated financial advice, and Clarifam does not recommend any product, provider or pension transfer. Before making a big decision about your pension or savings, think about speaking to a regulated financial adviser. Free, impartial guidance is available from MoneyHelper.
You are responsible for the figures you enter and for the decisions you make.
Using Clarifam fairly
Please do not:
- use Clarifam for anything unlawful
- try to get into other people’s accounts or households, or into parts of Clarifam you are not meant to reach
- try to disrupt Clarifam, overload it, or copy it at scale with automated tools
- enter other people’s details without a good reason to
If you connect an AI assistant to Clarifam, it acts with your access: it can read the household’s figures and its members’ details, and mark bills paid and record balances. You are responsible for what it does. To cut off an assistant’s access, email [email protected].
Keeping Clarifam running
We work to keep Clarifam available and your figures safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep your own copy of any figures you could not do without.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
If we are at fault, for example because Clarifam works something out wrongly, we are responsible for loss caused by that which we could reasonably have foreseen. We are not responsible for loss caused by the figures or assumptions you enter, by decisions you make, or that we could not reasonably have foreseen. Because Clarifam is for personal use, we are not responsible for any business losses.
Ending your use of Clarifam
- You can delete your account at any time from the Household page in the app. Our privacy notice explains what is deleted.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why.
- If we ever close Clarifam, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice, so you have time to note down your figures.
Changes to Clarifam and these terms
We may change these terms, or change, add or remove features, to reflect changes in the law, to keep Clarifam secure, or because of changes in how Clarifam works. If a change affects you significantly, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not want to carry on after a change, you can delete your account.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
